Recent Project: Nodo
The lovely Kate behind the donut empire known as Nodo reached out to the Binding with the feeling that the current branded collateral wasn’t best representing where they were heading.
So we sat down together and came up with a plan to keep the existing logo create a strong, minimal and visually cohesive experience across every touch point.
First thing to make it to the outside world was the new website. With the amazing help of @asmblyagency we created a solution that streamlined the ordering system, made necessary information more accessible and improved so many details that weren’t coherent on the old site.
Once that was in place it was onto creating an identity for the printed collateral including menus, gift cards, name cards, ingredient cards, coffee cups, takeaway boxes, smoothie cups, patterned tissue paper and various other details found throughout the store.
Eye catching but not overwhelming and clean but full of character was the aim throughout all the design refreshes and I believe it’s all come together really well in a way that reflects Kate’s vision and attention to detail throughout everything she does with the business.
So exciting designing with the big picture in mind of how each item works into the surrounding space - aesthetically and functionally - and how people will experience the brand from online to in store and taking away.
